About Jennifer Cooper Bahler
Jennifer Cooper Bahler, Ed.M., M.A., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. In a safe and accepting environment, she helps clients to explore thoughts and feelings that may previously have been avoided due to their difficult or threatening nature.
Jennifer practices an eclectic approach, including existential, humanistic and psychodynamic therapies, for most conditions. Among her specialties are relationship issues; family issues; parenting; health issues; elder issues; grief/loss; racial-cultural issues and working with the LGBT community. Jennifer also has a strong background in career and life transitions. She has lived and worked abroad in Asia and Europe and is bilingual (English/Spanish).
A graduate of Columbia University, she is licensed by the State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners of the State of New Jersey, a member in good standing of the American Counseling Association, Past-President of the New Jersey Counseling Association and certified by the Red Cross as a Disaster Mental Health Worker. Jennifer is also the founder of Comedy & Conversation: Stand-Up for Motherhood, a program for new mothers which consists of a therapeutic comedy segment followed by a forum for conversation and support.
